10 Dramatic Moments That Remind Me Why I Love The Bachelor

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at BU chapter.

Whenever I mention my newfound love of The Bachelor, there always seems to be that one person who needs to point out just how problematic it can be. I was always one of those people who just couldn’t jump on board, but once I started thinking about why eight million people watch each episode, it started to make more sense. I have fallen in love with the reality show about love. Here are my favorite dramatic moments from past seasons.

Anytime Ashley I. Cries

She’s now happy with Jared, but it took many tears to get there.

Champagne-Gate

Was this completely orchestrated by the producers? Probably. Do I still love it? Absolutely.

When Courtney Shoves a Pacifier in Demi’s Mouth

The tell-all part of every season is the best episode. Don’t @ me.

When Someone Is Called Out for Being Immature

And you know it happens every season.

How Competitive It Gets

At the end of the day, only one person gets proposed to.

When Ben Higgins Said “I Love You” to Two Women

Yikes.

Everything Chris Harrison Does

I will never get sick of Chris Harrison proclaiming that “this is the most dramatic moment in Bachelor History.”

When Olivia Says She’s the Only One Who Likes “Smart Things”

Yet, somehow, Ben was still nice to her.

When Arie Took Back His Proposal to Becca

I mean it makes sense why Arie is not the most loved Bachelor.

When Colton Jumped the Fence

There’s a reason it was called the most dramatic moment in Bachelor history.

What can I say? I’m a sucker for the drama.
