Whether you are going for a walk, traveling, or just hanging out in your room, I highly recommend listening to podcasts as a way to learn and be entertained. Here are some of my favorites, which can all be found on the Apple podcasts app!

  1. The Daily is a New York Times daily podcast that focuses on one current event that you need to know about in about 25 minutes. This week’s episode on the Oscars and the portrayal of race in Hollywood was especially interesting.

  2. The Mindbodygreen Podcast is a health, wellness, and environmental based podcast where the founders of the website Mindbodygreen interview industry leaders and specialists, such as the founder of Allbirds and Tata Harper natural skincare.

  3. The Goop Podcast is presented by Goop’s founder and CEO, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Chief Content Officer, Elise Loehnen, who focus on wellness in all forms; they discuss a wide range of topics under this subject, such as mental health, love, diet and stigma with professionals and stars such as Oprah and Misty Copeland.

  4. Skimm’d From the Couch is made by the cofounders of the daily newsletter, the Skimm. This podcast interviews women entrepreneurs and CEOs, such as Melanie Whelan (CEO of Soulcycle) and Christina Tosi (founder and CEO of Momofuku Milk Bar).

  5. The Skinny Confidential Him & Her is a podcast created by Lauryn Evarts and her husband Michael Bosstick, who make a successful husband and wife pair, as they interview individuals who inspire them with humor, seriousness, and fun. It is always super informative and fun to listen to!
