We have one more week here at Brenau until our precious summer arrives served on an ice cold ice cream cone. Some of us are never coming back. Some of us will be right back in our same dorms and our some classes in August. Just kidding. But, one fact I do know is that I will miss a few things about Brenau during my summer break. I’m going to tell you five things that I will miss most and maybe you can relate to few.

1.      Warm Oatmeal Raisin Cookies in the Dining Hall: I don’t get to eat cookies often (you know, trying to be healthy and all), but the cookies in the dining hall are always perfection. You can even sit them in the microwave for 8 seconds for a soft warm taste. Yummy! At Brenau will probably be the only time I can eat them since my mother doesn’t believe in snacks.

2.      The Social Interaction: I think something everyone will miss about college is the social part, right? We will all miss our school friends and events that we get to go to when we are at school.

3.      The Flex Bucks: The tea room is so clutch at times, and now that we have a Starbucks, about 75% of my Flex Bucks went to coffee for my early morning classes. It’s great because I don’t actually have to spend my money for it. Everything tastes better when it’s free.

4.      Resourceful RA’s: Our RA’s here are always helpful with anything I need. When I go home, it seems like my whole family wants to become ghosts when I need extra assistance. But here, my RA’s have been the best ever and keep me on track with the days of the week/ I have so much going on, it’s sometimes hard to remember.

5.      The Amphitheater: Now that we are getting beautiful weather, nothing is more fun than tanning out at the Amphitheater. You can do your homework, take selfies, or just lay out and relax on a beautiful day. I like to do my thinking out there. I’ll certainly miss it over the summer.
