The Emotions of Picking Classes as Told by Kristen Wiig

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Brandeis chapter.

When you first sit down and feel in control of the situation

When you suddenly become overwhelmed by the sheer amount of classes available

When you finish making a tentative schedule and you feel good about it

When you realize you’ve made a mistake

When you have a crisis because you realize that you don’t know what to do with your life

When you go to talk to your academic advisor and realize that they can’t make these decisions for you

When you ask your friends for help even though they don’t have the same major as you…

…but they can’t help you either.

When you finally sit yourself back down with newfound determination to make your schedule

When you think you’re done…

… and then you realize that two of your classes are at the same time AND YOU CAN’T BE IN TWO PLACES AT ONCE.

When you have to make even more very critical and life changing decisions

And when finally, after 6 long hours of hair pulling and emotional breakdowns, you finish your new, beautiful, amazing, glorious schedule!
