What does it mean to be HER? What does being HER look like? You’d be surprised, it could look different for each and every one of us.

Social media will try to convince us that being “HER” is fitting in an imaginary box of standards or materialism. In reality it’s more about aspiring to be the best version of yourself, all of which includes doing the work to get there.

I’m sure everyone wants to know the secret to this. Well you’ll be surprised that you hold the key because it’s in the power of your tongue; manifestation. Manifestation is the public display of emotion or feeling, or something theoretical made real. Simply to say if you’re someone who spends a lot of time looking at nice things or googling flights out of the country you can make that your reality simply by manifesting.

This will look different for everyone but an example of this would be creating a vision board. A vision board or a “dream board” is a collage of images and words representing a person’s wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration or motivation. The idea behind this is that if you see it, you can believe it. By looking at something everyday your subconscious becomes reprogrammed and you begin to welcome people and experiences that line up with your vision to be that girl.

Once you have created your vision it’s all about being intentional about the life you want. This is where you want to begin speaking affirmations any chance you get. (Yes, that means even when you’re in the shower!)

What is an affirmation?

Affirmations are positive statements that can help you to challenge and overcome self-sabotaging and negative thoughts. When you repeat them often, and believe in them, you can start to make positive changes. If you think of affirmations as the blueprint and your ideal self being towards the finished product this process just makes sense.

Another topic not many people discuss about becoming “HER” is getting invited into spaces you wouldn’t ever dream to be. This leads to feelings of feeling not deserving or “imposter syndrome” – doubting your abilities and feeling like a fraud.

Becoming that new version of yourself can feel scary at times, but this isn’t the time to run away or feel unworthy instead face those fears and accept every experience as it comes to you.

I want to leave you with one word: Gratitude. Learn to enjoy the journey just as much as the finish line. On every step remind yourself to feel grateful for the you, you are presently. You’ll be surprised the more gratitude you express towards the things you already have, the more greater things are to come.
