Starting my Last Semester

A little over a week ago, I started my final semester at Bloomsburg University. The best four years of my life are coming to an end in the blink of an eye. My time here has flown by and I am nowhere near ready for it to end. It feels like just yesterday that I was moving in to my very first dorm freshman year. Yet now here I am applying for graduation and brainstorming grad cap ideas.

The thought of graduation makes me excited but also extremely sad. This is my last semester to enjoy late night shenanigans, spontaneous adventures, 4AM talks with roommates, spending nights I won’t remember with people I’ll never forget, morning recaps of the blacked-out night I had before, and so much more. My college experience has been the best four years of my life, and I would not trade them for ANYTHING in this world. I have gained so much knowledge about myself, my peers, and the world that is irreplaceable.

So, as my last semester begins, I want to embrace all that college has given me while I still can. College has given me so much freedom. I can do basically WHATEVER I want, WHENEVER I want. This semester is about making sure the friendships I have will last after I graduate, making an impression on my university campus, making some of the best memories of my college career, and making the most out of the little time I have left. It is crazy to think that all this is coming to an end.

I’m not ready to leave all this behind. I’m not ready to say goodbye. I don’t want to graduate.
