#CelebrateYourself: Why Finals Week Doesn’t Have to Suck

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bloom U chapter.

It’s Finals Week and life can get pretty tough during these next few days. We’re looking forward to summer but exams and assignments have us clocking in crazy hours and internship and job searches have us so stressed out. It’s just not a good time for collegiettes. But along with our wonderful sponsors, we’re encouraging you to #CelebrateYourself. And we have everything you need to relax and celebrate your accomplishments and even your Netflix addiction this week.

ChipotleWhile there’s no Chipotle near Bloomsburg (seriously, can you guys get on that?!), they were generous enough to send us buy-one-get-one-free burrito cards! As if we weren’t excited enough about going home, now we can celebrate surviving another semester with our hometown friends over the perfect meal!

Rich BitchIf you don’t check your bank account, you don’t have to worry about it, right? Wrong. But no worries. Money expert and financial journalist Nicole Lapin lays out a 12-Step Plan in which she shares her experiences, mistakes and all, of getting her own finances in order. No lecturing, just help from a friend. We’re sort of obsessed and we’re about to be a whole lot smarter with our money, which is something huge to celebrate!

boohooSummer vacation is literally one week away and that means outdoor concerts, festivals and sporting events where we rock our best warm weather attire. But Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate, which is why boohoo has the cutest emergency ponchos so we can celebrate everything we love about summer without sacrificing our outfits.

Kathryn is a loquacious and driven senior at Bloomsburg University studying English. Journalism has been her focus for almost eight years and she's slightly excited but mostly petrified of exploring her career options in a few short months.
