Top Greenspace Activities

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

As we reach the last week of classes and with Spring Day just around the corner, I think we can all agree in saying, “All I want to do is sit on the Greenspace.”  One of the best parts of being a Bentley student is hanging out with all of your friends on the greenspace and ignoring any work that you should probably be doing.  Whether you’re on the Greenspace or the Little-G, let’s hope for some nice weather and that the residents of Falcone/Orchard South are playing the best music of spring so that we can enjoy some of our favorite activities:

Tanning:Soak up that sun and get a nice tan before summer even starts.  That vitamin D will definitely make you feel better and you’ll get a nice glow.  And if you’re like me, don’t forget sunscreen because that burn isn’t going to feel so good tomorrow!
Kan-Jam:  For my frolfers and Frisbee lovers – this is your go-to game.  If you want to play, there are usually kan-jam’s already out on the greenspace that people will let you use.  Help your partner by knocking the frisbee into the “kan” and have a good time.
Polish Horseshoes: This fun came only requires ski poles, two bottles and a Frisbee.  Try and knock off the other team’s bottle!
Slip-N-Slide:When you’re feeling a little wild, whip out the slip or slide (or a large piece of plastic) and a hose, and throw on that bathing suit.  I’m sure we all can remember that this activity can be a little painful, but will be fun!

However you choose to spend your time on the greenspace, enjoy it! We only have a few days left of the semester.  Are there any other activities that you like for the greenspace?  Let us know!
