Things are heating up in Orso with this fried rice recipe! This is another simple and delicious meal.

Ingredients:

  • Rice

  • 2 eggs

  • Veggies:

    • Peas

    • Carrots

    • Onions

    • Green Peppers

  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic

  • Soy Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Directions:

1. Make the rice. We personally used instant white rice, but if you have time and a rice cooker feel free to cook that way.

2. Make sure you pay attention to the directions on how much water to boil for the amount of rice that you want to make.

3. When you are waiting for the water to boil, chop up the vegetables. We decided to use onions, carrots, green peppers, and peas but feel free to add in your favorite veggies!

4. Heat up a skillet and scramble the eggs. Set aside.

5. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in the skillet and add the minced garlic.

6. Cook all of the vegetables, and then add the rice. Feel free to try different combinations of veggies until you find one that you like the best.

7. Add a cup of soy sauce. You can adjust the amount of soy sauce to the amount you would like. We started with one cup of soy sauce and kept adding until we reached the perfect amount of soy sauce.

We loved this meal so much that we forgot to take a final product picture! Plate and enjoy!
