Feelings When the Fire Alarm Goes Off in the Wee Hours of the Morning

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Bentley chapter.

Really? That’s my first thought whenever the Slade fire alarm goes off yet again. Okay, so maybe I’m being a little dramatic; the fire alarm has only gone off like eight times this year. My second thought is usually something like, “How hard is it to remember to add water to your Easy Mac? It’s called Easy Mac for a reason.” Whether it is because college students can’t follow the three simple steps for making Easy Mac, forget to pull the popcorn out of the microwave, or are using certain illicit substances in their rooms that set off the smoke alarms, I’ve had enough of standing outside in the cold waiting for the fire department to be done with their inspection. That is why I’ve composed a series of GIFs to show you how I feel about the fire alarm going off in the wee hours of the morning. PSA: In the future, please try to remember that popcorn doesn’t take ten minutes in the microwave to pop.

REALLY?

Come on. Again?

Shivering in the cold like your heart has been frozen…

Why do firefighters take so long?

When you find out the fire alarm went off because someone didn’t add water to their Easy Mac…

Finding out you can finally go back inside:
