I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like I was just given CPR, because GREY’S IS BACK and I feel alive again. Shonda Rhimes and I may have a complicated relationship filled with never-ending ups and downs, but tonight I can put all of that aside. That wild woman has officially brought 13 brilliant seasons of Grey’s Anatomy to our lives. To celebrate, I’m recapping the 13 most shocking, jaw-dropping, OMG moments from the episode.
1. DeLuca is rushed to the hospital after being attacked by Karev.
UM, this is too much for me already.
2. Warren suspects that Karev is the person who assaulted DeLuca.
C’mon, Ben. You’ve had a big night CUTTING APRIL KEPNER’S STOMACH OPEN, just go to bed already.
3. Alex tells Jo that she’s “not capable” of marriage.
Karev, you literally just assaulted DeLuca, you’re not allowed to judge anyone.
4. The doctors think DeLuca won’t be able to be a surgeon because of his injuries.
Nice one, Karev.
5. Alex decides to try to convince DeLuca not to press charges.
And how do ya think you’re gonna do that, huh?
6. Weber stops Jo from running away.
Don’t you just love Weber words of wisdom??
7. April and Jackson’s baby will take the last name Kepner-Avery.
Much to Catherine Avery’s dismay, of course.
8. DeLuca panics when he wakes up and sees Alex.
Because, you know, who wouldn’t freak out when you see the person who assaulted you.
9. Meredith confesses to Dr. Bailey that Alex beat up DeLuca.
Even though she really, really, REALLY didn’t want to.
10. Alex turns himself in to the police before Bailey does.
Our boy is owning up and growing up.
11. Maggie doesn’t know if she can trust Meredith.
Ooooooohhhh, sistah drama!
12. Meredith tells Riggs she doesn’t feel the same way he does about her, because Maggie has a crush on him too.
Even though we KNOW Mer likes him. Sisters before misters!
13. Meredith visits Alex in jail, and he thinks he’ll lose his medical license.
We’ll see about that!
Well, guys, it looks like we’re in for a bumpy ride…
