Why did you choose Belmont?

I love Nashville, the beautiful campus, the small size, the vast array of majors provided, how everyone is friendly, and it just felt right in my heart when I stepped on campus for the first time.

What’re your career goals?

I want to work somewhere in the music business industry and hopefully write a novel (or two!) on the side someday.

Favorite place to go in Nashville?

Radnor Lake State Park because it’s the most beautiful and relaxing place to walk around when school and the city life get stressful.

Do you have any hobbies?

Writing, reading, guitar, singing, spending time with friends, Bible study

What’s your favorite class you’ve taken at Belmont?

Understanding the Bible because even though I thought I knew what the Bible was about, it completely shifted my understanding and appreciation for my faith. Also my professor (Dr. Burke) is amazing!

Top 3 favorite bands/singers?

Zac Brown Band, Taylor Swift, Maren Morris

Favorite Movie?

Titanic

Favorite quote?

“No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.” -Taylor Swift

Favorite Food?

Sushi!

What would you say to someone considering joining the HC team?

If you love writing, this is the perfect thing for you. You get to choose what to write about (unlike many other programs)! I love how there are no limits to the topics you can write articles about.

Belmont '22

Hi, I'm Annie! I'm from Oklahoma City and I am majoring in English at Belmont University in Nashville! I hope to become a writer or publisher in the future. Some of my favorite things include cats, Christmas, rainy days, books, and romantic comedies!
Rachelle is a junior at Belmont University. She is studying music therapy and has a minor in psychology and hopes to work in hospice someday. Along with writing, she enjoys reading, learning new musical instruments, and spending time with friends.
