We’re all been there. You hit the snooze button a few too many times and before you know it you have ten minutes to get to class and you’re still in your pajamas.
Maybe you’re tired of looking like you just rolled out of bed, but you really did – so what can you do? Here are four ways to immediately improve your look in no time.
Scarf
You go to your usually outfit of leggings and a t-shirt. But, today you want to look like you put more than two minutes of effort into your morning – grab a colorful scarf. They’re great if you get cold easily, can add color to an otherwise boring outfit, and can personalize your look.
Jeans
One way to instantly class up an outfit is to opt for jeans instead of leggings. Yes, they aren’t as comfy as throwing on your Lululemons, but they instantly make you look like you actually thought about what you were wearing to class. Pair the jeans with some cute flats, a shirt, and your favorite fall jacket and get to class!
Necklace
When you’re really pressed for time and looking to spice up a boring outfit, add a fun statement necklace. A white shirt, jeans, and a colorful necklace paired with some boat shoes or boots give the appearance that you didn’t wake up ten minutes before class started. In fact, you might even look like you tried.
Hairstyle/Makeup
I know what you’re thinking, “How can a hairstyle improve how your outfit looks?” It may not make the outfit look better, but having both a sloppy outfit and a messy hairstyle is a recipe for disaster. If your outfit is looking a little shabby, try a more refined hairstyle – like a neat bun or neat ponytail. Throw some cover up to hide those bags under your eyes and some mascara on your lashes. You’ll be amazed at the difference.
So hit that snooze button in the morning and get some much-needed sleep. You can still look great in no time!
