No matter how we pack our closets,
the skeletons still
come falling out.
I’ve learned to unpack them,
hang them up, and
watch them decorate my soul.
Although they have frightened
away many,
the ones who stay I know
can see the beauty
and the pain
of those delicate
hanging things.
