Perks Of Being A College Athlete As Told By ASU Baseball Players

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at ASU chapter.

We can’t all be college athletes surrounded by swooning girls and wishful guys.

It may seem unfair that the collegiate athlete lifestyle is offered only to a select few, but after years of training, endless sacrifices and commitment, you can’t blame them for basking in their perks.

Arizona State University baseball players Connor Higgins (of Pennsylvania) and Liam Jenkins (of Chicago) give us a glimpse into their world of college athletics and all of it’s benefits-

” 1. Learning the true meaning of teamwork

   2. Making friends for life

   3. Going through a struggle everyday and feeling stronger when you accomplish it

   4. Meeting famous alumni frequently

   5. Getting to play the game you love everyday

   6. Having the time of your life at the highest level

   7. Getting to play in the best baseball stadium in the country and in front of the best fans

   8. Having great fan support

   9. Learning time management

  10. Getting the chance to constantly be exposed to Major League scouts every practice.”
