Midterms are in full swing, and while that can call for a large amount of stress it is important to take time for yourself and clear your head. If you’re totally swamped with school work try one of these five simple stress relievers (you’ll thank me later):

1.     Yoga

Try going to hot yoga in downtown Tucson on 4th street. This is one of the best possible ways to clear your mind and let go of any current stresses you are feeling. It is also a great form of exercise if you don’t have time to hit the gym!

2.     Running

Whenever I am studying for a test, taking a break to go for run always helps me de-stress. It is one of the best ways to get everything school related off your mind plus the weather here is always prime to go outside.

3.     Lay by the pool

Relaxing by the pool with some chill tunes will help you forget about your stresses almost immediately. Plus soaking up some Vitamin D is always great for your health.

4.     Stay organized

Make a to do list and stay on top of your work. If you are organized you will automatically feel less stressed.

5.     Eat healthy

Eating healthy is the key to staying healthy which is super important during this busy time of year. Plus if you’re eating healthy you’ll feel more energized and motivated.
