This has been a long week. Some students are starting to feel like the weeks are dragging, homework is piling up, and money is running low. Luckily, for the girls of Her Campus Albany, today was a bit of a stress relief. We had our very first member meeting, of the semester, today!

Instead of doing the usual, and sometimes boring, icebreakers we decided to do a few rounds of member speed dating. All of the girls spoke to each other for three minutes and then rotated. It was a really fun and interactive way for the members to get to know each other. If you are part of an organization, on campus, I highly suggest trying this. We are looking forward to planning other bonding activities, such as trap yoga, game nights, etc.

Being a part of Her Campus is more than writing articles and posting to social media. We really stress this in our chapter and are always looking to have fun bonding activities with our members because who doesn’t love a little girl talk at the end of a stressful week!
