What has your experience been like as an out-of-state student? “Surprisingly, most of my friends are also out of state, so it’s not too weird. I miss some of my friends from home though.”
How has being involved in APO been? “Amazing, it’s such a fantastic, close-knit group of people. I always feel welcomed, and we throw great brunches. APO is the best part of my experience at UA (aside from my wonderful, non-theatre friends).”
What is your favorite part about theatre? “There’s something so unique about doing live theatre, whether it’s onstage or behind the scenes; it’s thrilling. I love the crazy, wonderful people too.”
If your life were an ice cream flavor what would it be? “Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked. It’s my favorite, but I also don’t super know what I’m doing at any given time, so my whole life plan is kind of half baked.”
Describe your dream date. “Support local theatre together (UATD is superb); eat spaghetti and have deep conversation about the play/musical we just saw; no funny business.”
Describe yourself in three words. “tired hungry feminist”
What do you think is your best quality? “My chocolate chip cookies. I try to be a dedicated friend too.”
What’s the best advice you have ever gotten? “Say yes to love, yes to life, yes to staying in more!” -Liz Lemon, 30 Rock
