Q: What has your experience been like as an out-of-state student?
A: “Coming from California to Alabama, it has been a huge adjustment and it’s completely different, but I love it and would not want to be anywhere else. I love the South.”
Q: What do you miss most about California?
A: “In-N-Out Burger (if you’ve had it you would understand), the weather, Yosemite and the mountains.”
Q: Do you get along with your roommates?
A: “I might possibly have the world’s best roommates. They are family. It’s never boring in our dorm. We also have a famous snack bowl all our neighbors come to our room for.”
Q: Why did you choose your major?
A: “I’ve always really cared about people. My dream career is one where I can make a difference and dedicate my life to helping others- to me that is rewarding. I am my happiest when I am helping others.”
Q: What is your favorite part about being in a sorority?
A: “Many people have this idea you are just ‘paying for friends’ and to me that has never been true. You don’t have to be friends with the girls in your sorority, but you have the ability of easily meeting so many girls. That being said, I have met so many amazing people and some of my best friends are in my sorority. I am very thankful for that.”
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: “Anything outdoorsy. I am a huge backpacker/camper/hiker. Shooting, rafting, 4-wheeling, rock climbing… I am kind of an adrenaline junkie.”
Q: What’s the best advice you have ever gotten?
A: “Be so busy improving yourself that you have no time to criticize others.”
