Living on campus is great for a number of reasons, you get freedom and the ease of not commuting every morning. But you’ll probably be excited to go home for winter break for a couple of reasons:
1. I don’t have to wear flip flops in the shower.
2. Sharing a laundry room with literally everyone and waiting for a washer/dryer to be free.
3. I can burn candles! Some nights I just miss having a candle!
4. My family’s home cooking. (After a while eating on campus and eating out just gets old)
5. No fire drills , especially at the most inconvenient times.
6. I have my own bathroom. I don’t have to share a community bathroom with anyone!
7. I can take a bath!
8. I miss my own bed!
I’m sure we’ll all miss the residence halls for a little while, but enjoy the break! And we’ll be back in the spring!
