Now it is almost December, we must accept that the best weather that Aberdeen has to offer is long gone and now it’s time to wrap up warm. But do not fear, Her Campus Aberdeen has the ultimate guide for looking great, whilst being all cosy this winter. Gals, it’s time to embrace jumpers, fluffy socks and bobble hats!

Firstly, invest in a good quality winter jacket! Trust me, when it’s raining and windy you’ll thank your lucky stars that you have a decent jacket! Hollister have a great range of parkas, which although cost up to £100, are a worthwhile investment. ASOS is another good place to look, especially if you’re looking for a winter jacket at a reasonable price, also they offer student discount, which is a bonus. If you’re looking for a more traditional, waterproof, snow-proof jacket, The North Face is the best place to look! Although it’s a bit pricey, you can be sure that your jacket will do everything that it promised it would.

Personally, I love bobble hats! I have a collection going on right now and have already eyed up a few new ones to add to my collection. But whether you’re a bobble hat, beanie hat, beret or Bando kind of person, Accessorize always have a great selection of hats for reasonable prices. New Look and H&M are also good places to look, they’re cheap and cheerful, whilst being trendy and good quality. Topshop, even though it is sometimes overpriced, always have the cutest hats and if you’re looking for something a bit quirky and different, you should look here!

With exams coming closer and closer, you’ll be spending more and more time studying. A onesie is a great way of being chill and cosy for all the dark and chilly nights you’re going to spend studying. Not only are they practical, I use the pockets in mine to carry revision snacks, but they’re also cute and fun. Most high-street stores and online shops, such as Missguided and Boohoo have so many onesies in stock now that it is winter time. New Look is one of the best places to look for a onesie! From fluffy ones that make you feel like a teddy bear, to printed onesies that are a bit more fashionable, you’ll find your perfect onesie there! But if you’re trying to save your pennies, Primark is the best place to go! They stock novelty onesies, which will make studying a bit more fun and exciting at great prices! Everyone should have a onesie!

Jumpers are a must have for the winter time! Of course, the only jumper you’ll be wanting to wear is your Her Campus one, but for the times when you can’t wear it, you can stock up on cosy and fashionable jumpers from many high-street shops. New Look is always one of my first stops when I’m doing some winter clothes shopping. Not only can you buy a good, warm jumper for under £20, but they also offer student discount, which is great! H&M is like New Look, in the sense that their prices are incredibly reasonable and they always have a good selection of classic jumpers and ones which are a bit different. Primark is again a cheap and cheerful choice, especially if you’re needing to buy a lot of jumpers. I would also say that looking at Boohoo and Missguided for jumpers is a good idea as they have a lot of promotions on; everything from free delivery to money off certain products.

If you’re like me and love getting all curled up in bed and being as cosy as possible, some pairs of fluffy socks are the best thing for you! Even though they are quite bulky, I often wear a pair of them when I’m wearing boots to Uni, just to keep my toes extra toasty! Many stores on the high-street have fluffy socks in stock all year round and it is my biggest recommendation to buy as many pairs as you can!
