A Longhaired Lovely From Liverpool
This is one fresh faced and adorable girl that you’ll be seeing lots of round here! If you haven’t noticed already Sophie, a History major, graces the streets of campus on a daily basis with envious outfits! I love, in particular, her choice of accessories and select pops of colour, which is why I had to snap this one!
Sophie was off to a day filled of lectures and tutorials but, regardless of the busy day she had to endure, she looked fresh and ready to be picture perfect! Originally from Liverpool, Sophie is used to looking her best at all times. Whether it involves popping to the grocery store or running errands or meeting her ‘fel’ for lunch Sophie is fashion conscious at all times – it’s in her nature!
I asked Sophie whose style she envied the most and the likes of Olivia Palermo, Leighton Meester, and the Olsen twins were just a few of the names on her rather lengthy list of fashion icons. When Sophie is not on campus or working she is sitting at one of Aberdeen’s finest coffee houses flicking through the pages of Vogue for hours on end. She claims it is her ‘bible’. Fashion is Sophie’s passion and this is totally visible through this rocking outfit.
Sophie’s look here is casual but oh so classy! Her American Apparel riding pants are an absolute must have for every girl’s wardrobe. Not only are they super comfy but versatile from daytime to night time. Paired with this oversized grey jumper from a vintage shop in Sophie’s hometown of Liverpool, this outfit has gained a perfect comfy-casual look. To accent her neutral basics the focus of this outfit is definitely the wonderful choice of accessories. Sophie’s selective choices of a beaded Zara necklace and a beautiful blue suede bowling bag brighten this day-time look. The finishing touch to this outfit would have to be the beautiful royal blue boyfriend coat from Topshop. This style of coat has been trending for a while now and I hope it sticks around because it is perfect. The masculine lines of the jacket compliment the girly accessories and together make this outfit the perfect casual but classy look for around university but also for an impromptu trip to town!
