Cara Delevingne: Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
On 30th October 2016, the infamous UK tabloid The Sun reported that the reason why Cara Delevingne was not walking in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in London back in 2014 was that she was “bloated”. The article slammed lingerie-giant VS for their “body shaming.”
Both Cara and Victoria’s Secret have now hit back against these claims through a letter which Ed Razek, CMO of Victoria’s Secret wrote to Cara on November 3rd, which she then posted on her Instagram (see picture below). What this proves to us is that we truly should not believe everything we read, but also that it was Cara’s busy schedule (as she was filming her movie Paper Towns), which meant she couldn’t attend the show in London. Cara Captioned the photo “It’s shameless to discuss women’s bodies just to sell papers #bloated.” We very much agree, Cara!
The exciting thing coming from this is Ed extending the invitation for Cara Delevingne to walk the 2016 show in Paris (without casting)! We hope that Cara accepts and we can see our favourite British girl killing that coveted runway once more!!
