1. CBS News Internship Program
Location: Washington, DC
Deadline: Feb. 28  

Dream of becoming the next Lesley Stahl or Katie Couric? Good news: you can live the dream by interning with CBS News in our nation’s capitol. If you’re interested in journalism, broadcasting or communication, you’ll be able to hone your skills from logging tapes to assisting during shoots.
Requirements: “Good computer skills, excellent written and verbal communications abilities and knowledge of current events. A 3.0 GPA or above is recommended,” according to their website.

2. Boston Magazine
Location: Boston
Deadline: Feb. 15 

If you envision your summer relaxing by the Charles River and shopping on Newbury Street, Boston Magazine may be a perfect fit to pick up journalism experience—and maybe a few Red Sox games in between.

3. LifeStyle Group Fellowship Program

Requirements: Student interns must be a college junior, senior or graduate intern, have a strong academic record and must submit their resume and cover letter.

5. SiriusXM Radio Internship Program
Location: Washington, DC
Deadline: TBA

If you love music, journalism and everything about the radio, the SiriusXM Radio Internship Program tops the list. Offering internships in music programming, music productions and talent relations (just to name a few), SiriusXM is “always looking to identify talented individuals for possible future employment, while at the same time providing students with valuable real world, corporate experience.”
Requirements: Interns must be 18 years of age or older and work a minimum of 20 hours per week (but no more than 40).
