5 Healthy and Yummy Smoothie Recipes

In order to help you stay healthy when you’re busy, Her Campus has put together a list of some healthy and delicious smoothie recipes. Try these refreshing and tasty smoothies as a snack or as a great on-the-go breakfast.

1. Green Smoothie: 

Don’t be intimidated by the green smoothie! Smoothies are a great way to get your daily dose of veggies for those of you who would rather sip a sweet drink than eat a salad. This smoothie is both delicious and healthy, as it packs in some antioxidant-rich green veggies while still tasting delicious.

  • ½ cup of frozen mango 
  • 1 frozen banana 
  • 1 handful of kale 
  • 1 handful of spinach 
  • 4-6 ice cubes (depending on the size of your ice cubes)
  • 1 cup of almond milk 
  • Agave or honey (to taste)

2. Classic Strawberry-Banana Smoothie:

This light and refreshing classic combo is super easy to make and is perfect for a mid-afternoon pick me up. 

  • 1 handful of frozen strawberries 
  • 1 frozen banana 
  • 1 cup of coconut milk 
  • 4-6 ice cubes (depending on the size of your ice cubes)

3. Peanut Butter Smoothie:

This protein-packed smoothie is so good it practically tastes like a milkshake. Feel free to add a handful of kale to transform it into a green smoothie. We promise, you won’t even be able to taste the difference!

  • 1 frozen banana 
  • 2 tbsp. of peanut butter 
  • 1 cup of almond milk 
  • 4-6 ice cubes (depending on the size of your ice cubes) 
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon 

4. Berry Smoothie:

A simple yet satisfying smoothie that is easy to make. 

  • 1 handful of raspberries
  • 1 handful of blueberries
  • 1 handful of blackberries 
  • 1 frozen banana 
  • 1 cup of orange juice 
  • 4-6 ice cubes (depending on the size of your ice cubes)
  • Agave or honey (to taste) 

5. Tropical Mango Smoothie:

This smoothie will make you feel like you are lounging on a warm beach in the tropics, instead of the icy tundra you are actually in. 

  • 1 handful of frozen mango
  • 1 handful of frozen strawberries 
  •  ½ cup of orange juice
  • ½ cup of coconut water
  • 4-6 ice cubes (depending on the size of your ice cubes)
  • Agave or honey (to taste)
