This Starbucks In Nashville Transformed Into A ‘TLOAS’ Pop-Up For The Weekend

Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl was released on Oct. 3, and it’s already been taking over — including a Starbucks in Nashville, which was transformed into a dazzling Showgirl-themed pop-up for the weekend of Oct. 3-5. This takeover gives fans a chance to sip glitter-sprinkled drinks, swap friendship bracelets, and browse an exclusive vinyl pop-up — all while surrounded by decor inspired by Swift’s 12th studio album.

Inside the Nashville location, Swifties will step into a Taylor-inspired world. There’s a photo booth for showgirl-style selfies, a friendship bracelet station, and an extra sparkly Starbucks cold foam to top off your coffee. The pop-up makes this ordinary coffee shop feel like you’re stepping into your very own showgirl era.

Fans have taken to social media to share bits and pieces of the pop-up, including a line of Swifties ready to step into this glitter-filled coffeehouse experience. Even before doors opened, TikTok users spotted the behind-the-scenes set up of this Starbies. Creator @peytonkennedytv shared a video of the crew setting up the dazzling signage and lights, teasing fans with the caption, “Something’s happening here.” The clip fueled speculation about what exactly Starbucks was planning before the official reveal.

But the TLOAS celebration isn’t limited to just Nashville. Starbucks stores all over the world will be streaming the brand new album on Oct. 3, as well as “Starbucks Lovers” playlists. Fans everywhere can grab their drinks and make their coffee runs with the album as their background music, making this release feel like a global listening party. For the Swifties who can’t make it all the way to Nashville, knowing their local Starbucks is part of the same celebration makes the album release feel bigger and more connected.

Earlier today, Starbucks also launched a special giveaway for Swifties, challenging them to spot an Easter egg hidden in the brand’s Instagram post. The first 113,000 people to find the hidden message unlocked a free drink from their “Wi$h Li$t.” The promo ended almost immediately, because we know how quick Swifties are to find secret Easter eggs! Although many fans were not quick enough to claim their free drink, many still appreciated the creativity of the promo, using Swift’s longtime tradition of leaving clues for her fans.

This isn’t the first time Starbucks teamed up with Swift. Back in 2021, the chain celebrated the release of Red (Taylor’s Version), where fans could order “Taylor’s Latte,” a caramel nonfat latte inspired by her go-to order. Along with her signature order, fans could get themed stickers and Starbucks eGift Cards with Red inspired lyrics. With The Life of a Showgirl, the collab is bigger, bolder, and so much more fun.
