6 Sorority Rush Experts On TikTok To Follow For Recruitment Advice

RushTok has seriously exploded in the past few years, with PNMs and sisters showing viewers the ins and outs of recruitment, sororities, and Greek life as a whole. For many, sorority rush season is a source of endless entertainment, but but for some — namely the active members and potential new members (PNMs) — Greek life is a quintessential part of college. In fact, many dream about running home to their ideal sorority before they even graduate high school.

That’s probably why, way before rush week even begins, some of the PNMs get way ahead of the game when it comes to preparing for sorority recruitment. Planning outfits, backup outfits, rush bags, beauty appointments, and more are all part of the process — but your physical appearance is only a small part of the equation; it’s your personality and communication skills that will really make you stand out during recruitment. And, yes, many PNMs are turning to professionals for help with this.

That said, one-on-one sorority rush coaches can cost a pretty penny. Instead, some are turning to something far more accessible — and totally free: Advice from sorority rush experts on TikTok.

Of course, being yourself is the most important aspect when it comes to rushing, but there’s no shame in gaining some pointers and advice. So, if you’re planning to rush this fall and are still looking for some guidance, check out what these six rush experts have to say.

The Sorority Sister

When it comes to honesty and no-BS rush advice, Audrey Atienza is your girl. Atienza and her business partner Kendell Guinn are the co-founders of The Sorority Sister, and they’re helping their viewers and clients rush right. On TikTok, Atienza offers advice about school-specific processes, outfit and shopping inspiration, and is even currently creating a video series called “12 days of rush tips.”

Bid Bible

Abbie Sky truly has a grasp on this generation of Greek life — which, TBH, has evolved quite a bit from traditional Greek life. Specifically, Sky does a great job of not only showing her viewers what not to do during rush, but also showing what to actually do, and, most importantly, why.

Getting The Bid

Sloan Anderson seriously knows her stuff. She has used her personal experiences and knowledge to create her recruitment consulting business, Getting The Bid, but she also shares lots of info for free on TikTok. Anderson feels like an older sister you can ask for advice, with helpful and judgment-free answers.

Greek Chic NYC

For those who may not be rushing at a Southern college (which comes with its own set of rules and norms), Greek Chic NYC has you covered! This account focuses on rush advice all year round.

Hiking In Heels

Stacia of Hiking in Heels Sorority Coach does a great job about getting to the point! Her quick (but helpful) videos go over just about everything when it comes to rush, including recommendation letters, conversation starters, the logistics of the process, and all things in between. After rush is completed, Stacia continues to post Greek life content such as themed outfit ideas and gifts for your big and little.

Jenny C

If the rushing process is beginning to become a topic of your whole family’s conversation, Jenny of Crush My Rush has got your back. She does an excellent job of teaching parents about the expectations and rules of rush. Jenny is honest and has some great advice that can really make a PNM stop and think about their intentions.

Liv is a first-year graduate student at the University of Windsor. After completing her undergrad in forensic science, she returned to campus for earth science and to further expand on her thesis work. When she is not working in her office, you can find her working out at the gym, running or playing pickleball outside, or playing videogames with her friends.
