4 Small Stationery Brands That Will Help You Get Organized This Year

The Her Campus National Editors write about products we love and think you’ll love too. Her Campus has affiliate partnerships, so we get a share of the revenue from your purchase. All products are in stock and all prices are accurate as of publication.

It’s already February and the holiday glow has faded for most of us. Now it’s back to reality, and that means an endless list of tasks, classes, and meetings. While I was motivated to be productive at the beginning of January, I feel like I often procrastinate a lot of tasks these days because I lack motivation. However, using cute stationery products like notepads and calendars always increases my productivity when I have a lot of things I need to get done. Sometimes, just checking tasks off of a cute notepad makes me feel like I accomplished a lot in one day.

Rather than looking for stationery from department stores, I wanted to find some unique small stationery businesses I could support. So many small businesses are struggling right now because of the COVID-19 pandemic, so every purchase — no matter how small — can help them stay afloat! If you’re looking for some beautiful paper goods to help you get organized this year, I’ve got you covered with these four small stationery brands.

1canoe2

I recently found this Midwestern stationery company while scrolling through Instagram. I was immediately drawn in by their hand-painted illustrations and dreamy designs. 1canoe2 offers a huge variety of products, such as desk supplies, greeting cards, planners, posters, textiles and home goods. I’ve been loving using notepads over planners lately, so I’m obsessed with their Green Leaf To Do Notepad and Sienna Stripe Notepad. If you like to use bullet journals to get organized and increase your productivity, 1canoe2 also carries beautiful notebooks and journals. As a bonus, 1canoe2 offers a beginner bullet journaling class for those who want to learn the basics.

Katie Daisy

I stumbled upon Katie Daisy stationery on Etsy, but some products are also sold on Amazon as well. If you love nature-inspired stationery, you’ll love Katie Daisy. The brand was created by Katie Daisy, who draws inspiration from her rural Illinois hometown. I love the brand’s whimsical designs. One of my favorite products from Katie Daisy is the 2021 Poster Wall Art Calendar, which contains colorful artwork for every month of the year. Katie Daisy also sells greeting cards, stickers, mugs, clothing and much more!

Paper Raven Co.

Paper Raven Co. is a newer find for me, but their selection of eco-friendly paper goods instantly made me a fan. Every order placed at Paper Raven Co. helps plant trees, as they have a  partnership with One Tree Planted. Some of my favorites from Paper Raven Co. include the Have a Nice Day Notepad and the Floral Desk Pad Weekly Planner. Aside from stationery, Paper Raven Co. has a selection of beautiful greeting cards, art prints and home goods.

Bliss Collections

If you’re someone who likes simple yet elegant designs, Bliss Collections is perfect for you. Bliss Collections is run by a husband-and-wife team from Wisconsin. They offer desk and planning stationery as well as special occasion stationery and home goods. I specifically love their Habit Trackers and Daily Undated Planner, which are really helpful in reminding me to practice self-care even when I have a million things to do.

If you’re feeling unmotivated to finish tasks or assignments, using fun stationery products can help you stay on track and accomplish your goals. Finding some unique paper goods from small businesses is a great way to shop small and discover products that match your style perfectly. Not to mention, they look great on your desk too! I hope you’ve found one or two brands that inspire you to keep doing your best this year, both in and out of school.
