While fans can’t know for sure yet, it seems like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have figured out how to balance a billion-dollar world tour, a post-Super-Bowl-win football season, pop-culture fandom, and both their families well enough to spend Christmas together. The first key to success here is that Swift’s Eras Tour is on break until February, leaving her schedule more free than usual to attend Kelce’s games before she’s back to performing again. One of those games will be on Christmas Day, when the Kansas City Chiefs play the Las Vegas Raiders. Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, will also play on Christmas Day when his team, the Philadelphia Eagles, take on the New York Giants. This begs the question — will Taylor Swift be at Travis Kelce’s Christmas Day game, and are they spending the holiday together? Based on their relationship so far — and what sources have said — it’s totally possible that they are.
Travis told People on Dec. 18, “My brother sent me a text and said he’s going to be celebrating [Christmas] afterwards,” and confirmed he will be doing the same. Since we know what the Kelce brothers are up to on Christmas Day, fans can only assume Swift will be present to celebrate with the Kelce family. Later in the week, the duo may be traveling to Nashville to celebrate the holidays with Swift’s family. A source told Us Weekly, “Travis hasn’t been to Taylor’s Nashville place yet, so he’s really looking forward to it.”
A source also told Us Weekly that Travis and Taylor are planning a private “romantic getaway” after they visit each other’s families. They have each already met the other’s family, and their parents have met each other as well. “They love [getting together] with their families and friends, but right now, what they value above all else is alone time,” the source said. Their obvious attraction, consistent PDA, and dedication to supporting one another is proof enough of that!
Most recently, Swift attended Kelce’s game against the New England Patriots on Dec. 17, where the Chiefs won 27-17. This is the seventh Chiefs game Swift has attended this season. During the game, Swift was recorded reacting passionately to a referee call that concluded no pass interference on Patriots player Myles Bryant. Even after the game, Bryant acknowledged Swift’s reaction, telling People, “It’s a high-stakes game. People get real into it, so it’s cool. It’s cool she’s into it.” If every other person watching the game can say “f*ck” whenever they want, Taylor Swift can, too!
Ever since the pair hard-launched their relationship on Sept. 24, this has been one of Swift’s most public relationships, and fans are eating it up.
