Why Can’t I See My 2025 Spotify Wrapped? Here’s What To Try

It’s that time of year again! No, I’m not talking about the holidays, or even the end of finals season — I’m talking about Spotify Wrapped Day. Every year, Spotify pulls out all the bells and whistles to celebrate the past year in music, from the smash-hit albums on everyone’s playlists to the niche songs that have been in your rotation since freshman year. However, if you woke up this morning and excitedly opened your app, only to find your usual homepage and not a Wrapped graphic in sight, you might be wondering: Why can’t I see my 2025 Spotify Wrapped?!

Since Wrapped dropped bright and early on Dec. 3 at 8 a.m. EST, most users are able to access it on their Spotify homepage right now! And there truly are a ton of features to peruse, including your top genres, artists, podcasts, audiobooks, songs, and more. You can also find out your listening age (aka, the age Spotify thinks you are based on what you’ve listened to), play a top song quiz (by guessing which song was your No. 1), and get sorted into a club based on your listening habits. But if this isn’t the case for you, you’re probably pretty frustrated — and understandably so!

But don’t panic, bestie. There are quite a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your issues — and usually, this clears up any issues with accessing your Spotify Wrapped. Let’s get the most obvious one out of the way first: Are you signed into your Spotify account? That’s kind of an important one. Luckily, you don’t have to be a Premium member to access your Spotify Wrapped; you just need to be *a* member — and, importantly, a someone who’s been a member of Spotify for at least a year (so that there’s enough data for Spotify to have collected for your Wrapped). If that’s you, once you’ve ensured you’re logged in (and on the right account!) you can move onto the next step.

Next up: When’s the last time you’ve checked for app updates? Just head to the app store and look for the Spotify logo — if there’s an “update” button, then that means you’re due for an update! Go ahead and tap that button, and once the app is ready to access, you will very likely see your Wrapped once you open it up again.

Still not seeing Wrapped? I’m going to hold your hand when I say this: You might not have enough data logged on Spotify. In order for the app to be able to show off what music you listened to the most, you need to have streamed at least 30 tracks for over 30 seconds, and have listened to over five different artists in the past year. If that’s the case, it’s OK! You can always try again next year.

However, if you’ve taken every step listed above and meet all the requirements, and you’re still having trouble, consider getting help from Spotify’s support feature. You’ll get through this!
