Like most celebrities, Timothée Chalamet keeps his personal life to himself. But, in an interview with GQ published on Oct. 17, the Call Me By Your Name actor opened up about his love life, aka his budding romance with Kylie Jenner. During the interview, Chalamet explained how he’s been handling life in the public eye. Though he wants to maintain his privacy, Chalamet knows that his celebrity status — and his low-key romance with Jenner — won’t allow him to do that.
“I can’t say that this stuff doesn’t matter, because my intense fandom has led me to where I am,” Chalament said after being asked about all the attention he’s received since being linked to Jenner in April 2023. Though he’s previously been spotted with A-listers like Kid Cudi, Martin Scorsese, and Leonardo DiCaprio, the hype surrounding Chalamet and Jenner has been huge — but TBH, can you expect anything less when a Kar-Jenner is involved?
Since Chalamet has a highly publicized career (he’s just an Oscar-nominated celeb, NBD), he understands that he won’t be able to fully live a private life. “This reminds me of that recent South Park episode with the Worldwide Privacy Tour,” he said, referencing an episode where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle flew around in a private jet and appeared on a talk show where they demanded privacy. “Sometimes, people are going to be hella confused when you say you’re trying to live a private life,” the Wonka actor added.
Though he briefly talked about his love life during the interview, this was the first time Chalamet has commented on his relationship with Jenner.
ICYMI, Chalment has been making headlines thanks to his budding relationship with The Kardashians star. The two fueled romance rumors for a few months before they hard-launched their romance during Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour stop in Los Angeles on Sept. 4. A few days later, on Sept. 10, Chalamet and Jenner attended the 2023 U.S. Open where they couldn’t keep their hands — and lips — off of each other.
As if this relationship couldn’t get any cuter, Jenner was spotted during Milan Fashion Week, where she accidentally revealed her phone lock screen, which was a photo of Chalamet kissing her on the cheek.
Seems like this relationship is in full force. Does this mean Chalamet will appear in a future episode of The Kardashians? I sure hope so!
