‘The Ultimatum: Marry Or Move On’ Season 2 Filming Locations Are Honestly Pretty Cool

Are any fans of The Ultimatum here? If so, then I’m sure we’re all thinking about the same things: One, what would’ve happened if Brian and Lisa had stayed? (The answer: a whole bunch of mess.) And two, where was The Ultimatum Season 2 filmed?

If you’re unfamiliar with The Ultimatum, I’ll give you the lowdown. Basically, the show follows several sets of couples who are at a crossroads in their relationship: One partner is ready to get married, while the other isn’t ready — or is unsure if their original partner is “the one.” To find out, they decide to (consensually!) swap with other couples and date other people for a few weeks, eventually coming back together to decide if they want to take the next step to marriage. As you can probably guess, it’s a mess — and probably the pinnacle of entertainment, if you ask me.

Similar to shows like Love Is Blind, The Ultimatum takes place in a different city each season. The first season featured couples from Austin, Texas while the show’s LGBTQ+ spin-off, The Ultimatum: Queer Love, took place in San Diego, California. Season 2, however, takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina, with most couples hailing from Georgia and North, or South, Carolina, according to Tudum.

Unlike Too Hot To Handle or Love Is Blind, Season 2 of The Ultimatum doesn’t feature stunning beaches or resorts, but some of the spots that are shown are pretty swanky (for lack of a better term). Hey, who needs a beach when you have a cocktail bar with cool lighting… right?

The Vue Charlotte

The apartments featured on The Ultimatum Season 2 appear to be at The Vue Charlotte. Unsurprisingly, these luxury apartments come with a hefty price tag, averaging anywhere from $2,400 to $3,000 a month for a one-bedroom.

Hot Taco

I’m a sucker for a good taco, and Hot Taco in Charlotte looks to feature Mexican cuisine and fun, colorful margaritas. With the cool decor, there’s no wonder why Netflix chose to feature this spot on the show.

WOrkman’s Friend

Workman’s Friend is another bar that was featured on The Ultimatum Season 2. It’s laid back, cozy, and full of that good ‘ol Charlotte charm.

The Oak Room

The nightclub scenes of The Ultimatum Season 2 were filmed at the Oak Room, a popular club in the Charlotte area.

Figo 36

Finally, the popular (and pretty) cocktail bar and restaurant, Figo 36, was also featured on this season of The Ultimatum.
