What started as a friendship bracelet and a dream has turned into a “Karma” lyric change and a very public kiss. I’m sure I’m not the only one who can’t stop thinking about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance — especially their unexpected PDA at the singer’s Eras Tour show in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Nov. 11.
ICYMI, Swift changed the words in her hit song “Karma” to shout out Kelce and ran straight into his arms after the show to give him a kiss. Since then, Swifties have been in a frenzy on social media and their reactions to Swift and Kelce’s sweet moment after the concerts are golden. Here are some of my favorite posts on X (formerly known as Twitter) about Swift and Kelce’s cute backstage moment!
FANS NEED ALL THE ANGLES
The more angles I watch the kiss from, the cuter it gets. It’s a phenomenon I just can’t explain.
THIS CUTE OBSERVATION
For those who didn’t know, Swift begins the post-show playlist of the Eras Tour with her fan-favorite track “You’re On Your Own, Kid.” This song’s bridge contains the line “I hosted parties and starved my body, like I’d be saved by a perfect kiss,” which reflects on her approach to fame and dating back when she first achieved mainstream popularity. The juxtaposition of that lyric against her much healthier relationship with Kelce has me bawling.
THE “BEST KISS” AWARD
Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling’s iconic kiss in The Notebook is no longer the greatest one in my book!
THIS ADORABLE FAN EDIT
This video already had me swooning big time – but once I saw this fan edit to “The blue” by Gracie Abrams, I started full-on sobbing.
KELCE’S REACTION TO THE “KARMA” LYRIC CHANGE”
Although most Swifties can’t stop talking about Tayvis’ kiss after the concert, others keep replaying clips of Swift shouting him out during “Karma.” This is such a full-circle moment, especially since Swift has publicly supported Kelce at his football games.
SO MUCH CAN CHANGE IN A FEW MONTHS
This time last year, if you told me that I’d be rooting for a sports team because Swift’s boyfriend is on one, I wouldn’t have believed you to say the least.
YEP… IT LIVES RENT FREE IN ALL OF OUR MINDS
To say that I’m on the floor in a puddle of my own tears is an understatement. Can someone pass the Kleenex, please?
In short, I want what Swift and Kelce have — is that seriously too much to ask for?
