What Are The Spotify Wrapped Clubs? The Feature Is New This Year

Perhaps the most-awaited day of the year for music aficionados around the world has finally arrived: Spotify Wrapped release day. After weeks of speculation and predictions, the 2025 Wrapped officially dropped on Dec. 3. As always, the internet is already spiraling, bragging, and sharing on every platform possible. Each year, Spotify finds new ways to turn our listening habits into a personality test, and this year is no different with Wrapped Clubs. Alongside the classic stats we always expect, 2025 Wrapped introduced a few new features to surprise, humble, and maybe even slightly embarrass us — and we’ll eat it up every single time.

This year’s latest feature is known as Wrapped Clubs — a personality breakdown that sorts users into communities based on their listening habits and fixations of the year. But before you can find out which club you belong to, Wrapped walks you through a familiar lineup of stats, of course, with a few upgrades. From your top genres and “listening age” to a new top song quiz, Spotify will creatively reveal your musical identity piece by piece. Once you’ve got your essential stats and labels, Wrapped finishes off with a nostalgic archive of your year’s biggest listening moments, and a new Wrapped Party feature that encourages sharing your stats and competing with friends.

Wrapped Clubs is one of the coolest new stats in this year’s Spotify Wrapped. Whether you totally resonate with your assigned club or shamefully disagree, let’s break down the listening clubs and the “roles” included in Spotify Wrapped 2025, and what it all really means. First, let’s look at the Clubs.

The 2025 Spotify Wrapped Clubs

Cloud state society

Dreamy, zen, and all-things chill, music is meant for your relaxation time. Maybe you spent hours with background music to your meditation time, or just needed your life to feel a little more like a spa this year.

Full charge crew

Your life is one big party. Whether you’re walking across campus or cleaning your room, there’s always a nightclub blasting through your speakers and you bring the energy to every situation. For pregame pump-up playlists, you’ve got everyone covered.

Soft hearts club

The club for the vulnerable listeners who throw on their most comforting playlists for any and all emotional moments. Music is all about feeling, even the softer and sadder moments.

Club serotonin

You probably have a playlist title something along the lines of “mood boost.” Music is your energy, and you bring optimism to every moment while the soundtrack to your life plays in the background.

Grit Collective

Think edgy, punk, and totally pumped up. Maybe you spent hours grinding in the gym this year or training for a marathon. Wherever you were, you’ve got the grit and your soundtrack pushed you through every challenge.

Cosmic stereo club

You get lost in your playlists as music takes you to another world. For the psychedelic and other-worldly genres, your music is a reflection of your creativity and ability to see beyond the basic trends.

Wrapped Club Roles

After receiving their assigned club, users will then be sorted into “roles” in each club, including leader, scout, recruiter, curator, collector, loyalist, supporter and archivist. Each of these roles has a different meaning — for example, leaders are trendsetters that are the first to discover up-and-coming artists. Scouts are exploring new artists and replay the latest releases. Recruiters share their music far and wide, frequently bringing in “new members” to the club.

Overall, Spotify Wrapped Clubs were so fun to experience this year. Hogwarts houses? Totally out. Wrapped Clubs? In.

Lyda Cosgrove is thrilled to contribute to the Culture and Style sections of Her Campus as an intern this fall. Currently a junior at Elon University in North Carolina, she majors in journalism and media analytics with a minor in professional writing studies. This semester, she is studying abroad in Florence, Italy through the Accademia Europea Firenze.

With a lifelong passion for storytelling and uncovering fresh angles, Lyda is eager to bring curiosity and creativity to her work. When she’s not writing about the latest pop culture moments or diving into Italy’s rich history during her classes, you’ll find her exploring new coffee shops to find the best cappuccino, taking long walks with friends or unwinding in a yoga class.

Back on Elon’s campus, Lyda is an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha, works in the Campus Writing Center and writes and edits for both the Elon Yearbook and the lifestyle magazine, The Edge. She hopes to one day pursue a career in the magazine industry, writing feature and entertainment stories that inspire and connect readers.
