The ‘Off Campus’ Season 2 Release Date Has Officially Been Announced

Are you ready to head back to Briar University? On Nov. 5, Prime Video announced Off Campus Season 2 will hit the streamer on April 28, 2027. In a video posted to Instagram and TikTok, we can see someone knocking on the door of “Dean’s Office” at Briar University. Mr. Dean Di Laurentis himself (played by Stephen Kalyn) opens the door, saying, “What, did you miss us?” Allie (Mika Abdalla) then pops into frame, saying, “Dean and Allie are officially back for Season 2.” When the door closes, the sign on the door has changed. It then reads: “Off Campus April 28.”

This Season 2 release date has been highly anticipated among fans, who first fell in love with Season 1 when it was released on Prime Video on May 13 of this year. Based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling Off-Campus book series, Off Campus Season 1 followed the first novel, The Deal, which centered on Hannah Wells and Briar University hockey captain Garrett Graham. Soon after Season 1 premiered, Off Campus announced that Season 2 would be skipping the second novel, The Mistake, and instead basing Season 2 on The Score, centered on the love story between Allie and Dean.

If you’re a big John Logan fan, though, don’t worry. While his love story might not be the central arc in Season 2, it’s possible he’ll be the main attraction in Season 3. After all, Off Campus announced earlier this year that they’ve cast English actress India Fowler to play Grace Ivers, who ends up being endgame for Logan. Considering how Season 1 played out parts of Dean and Allie’s story as a secondary storyline to Garrett and Hannah’s, I’m sure we can plan to see early moments between Logan and Grace in Season 2, too.

But before Logan and Grace come Dean and Allie. In Season 2, fans will likely see how their secret relationship will pan out among their friend group — and the two star actors are ready for it. After all, they had some practice with their early setup scenes in Season 1. In a previous interview with Her Campus, Abdalla said, “[The showrunners] really just wanted to make sure that all of us [in the cast] across the board knew we weren’t going into this as supporting characters — that we were beginning to form leads for later seasons. They wanted to make sure that we dove into it the way we would dive into it if we were leading the season. That’s how they treated us on set, too.”

As for how she actually feels going into the main character role in Season 2, Abdalla said in an interview with Cosmopolitan, “I’m a little nervous, but I am excited. [Stephen and I are] really looking forward to getting the scripts and seeing what we have coming for us, because we’ve heard little bits about what’s about to happen. As actors, we’re ready to be serious.” And as a fan, I am seriously ready for Season 2 to start streaming. Everyone, mark your calendars for April 28, 2027.
