The Dancing With The Stars Season 34 finale was full of amazing moments — and Jordan Chile’s freestyle was one of them. ICYMI, the Olympian had a jaw-dropping dance with her partner, Ezra Sosa, alongside a special guest: the one and only Normani. I’m not kidding.
Throughout the season, Chiles and Sosa wowed us with some of the most energetic and memorable dances in the show’s history. (Seriously, the Tina Turner number will be burned into my brain forever — and that’s exactly how I want it to be.) So, it was no shock at all that the two made it to the finale of Season 34, and that their freestyle absolutely stole the show. Featuring a mash-up of Beyoncé’s “Bow Down” and Normani’s “Motivation,” the dance was empowering, fierce, and 1000% unforgettable. (Judge Carrie Ann Inaba called it the best freestyle in the history of the show — and while I rarely agree with her on anything, we’re on the same page here.)
About halfway through the freestyle — which was already iconic to begin with — Normani appeared and joined Chiles for a section of the dance that had fans gagged. But this wasn’t the first time the popstar and Fifth Harmony alum performed in the DWTS ballroom: she was actually a finalist in Season 24 of DWTS, coming in third with her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.
Naturally, fans flocked to X/Twitter to collectively lose it over Normani’s appearance in the finale. And TBH, I don’t blame them! How do you see Normani, in 2025, doing a front-aerial alongside the Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa, in the DWTS finale and not freak TF out?!
Where did Jordan Chiles place in DWTS Season 34?
Despite the iconic freestyle, Chiles placed third in DWTS Season 34. However, the impact of her amazing freestyle will live on forever! Now, excuse me while I watch it — and all of Normani’s Season 24 dances — on repeat for the next week and a half.
