Barbie is taking over the world, and we are here for it. (No, like, literally.) Everywhere I look, there is a new Barbie collaboration: The Barbie x Hally Hair collab is something I didn’t know I needed, and the Barbie x Kitsch Hair collection is on my wishlist. These are just some of the many collaborations Barbie is doing ahead of the premiere on July 21. So, until then, don’t mind me — I’m going to keep looking at all the amazing Barbie collabs while I sip on my Barbie margarita. It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right?.
The long-awaited movie comes out in just a few short weeks, I don’t know about you, but I have had Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice’s “Barbie World (with Aqua)” on repeat at all times, even in the background as I scroll through TikTok.
So, when I came across a video about Airbnb-ing the Barbie Dreamhouse, I absolutely lost it. If living out your Barbie dreams through the amazing collabs, songs, and the movie wasn’t already enough, you can quite literally live like Barbie… like, in the Dreamhouse.
First things first, Ken is literally the host. According to Airbnb, Barbie is “on a vacation,” ( so Ken is having a few lucky guests stay in the Dreamhouse. The Barbie Dreamhouse is, of course, in Malibu, and the Kenergy in this house is everything.
The Dreamhouse is everything you would imagine it would be. As described by Airbnb, the Malibu Dreamhouse features “panoramic views” and is the “perfect backdrop for Ken’s picture-plastic paradise.”
This all sounds amazing, but I’m sure you want to know how to book the Dreamhouse. According to Airbnb, fans will be able to stay in Ken’s bedroom for two individual one-night stays for up to two guests each on July 21 and July 22, 2023.
Oh, also, did I mention it’s free? According to Airbnb, “Ken couldn’t figure out how to put a price on Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse – after all, Ken’s thing is beach, not math!”
