The Internet Is Losing It Over Jojo Siwa Carrying Tom Sandoval (Yes, Read That Again)

OK, I didn’t have JoJo Siwa carrying Tom Sandoval on my 2023 bingo card, but there’s a viral clip that’s taking over my FYP. And if you’ve seen the video, and you’re also totally confused, you’re not alone. So, I took the liberty of looking into the viral moment… and what the internet thinks of it, too.

At first, I was a little confused: In the video, the pair is in, what looks like, military uniforms and the clip offers very little context. But as someone who is chronically online, I needed to know what this clip was from. IN the now-viral video, JoJo picks up Sandoval and slings him over her shoulder, and starts walking away while carrying him. Shoutout to JoJo who picked up Sandoval like he was nothing (IYKYK). 

Turns out, the clip is from the first season of Special Forces: Toughest Test, a reality series on FOX that is focused on putting celebrities and reality stars including Tom Sandoval, JoJo Siwa, Tyler Cameron, and even Blac Chyna through special forces military training to see how they can handle the pressure. 

Back to the clip of JoJo: It was part of a firefighter carry challenge, and after another cast member needed a break she traded carrying the bags to carry Sandoval (who is twice her age and, like, three inches taller than her) for over half a mile back to base. I’ll give Jojo points for picking Sandoval up, slinging him over her shoulder, and finishing the challenge like a pro.

This isn’t the first time Sandoval embarrassed himself on TV. In the spring of 2023, the internet was outraged when season 10 of Vanderpump Rules featured Sandoval’s now ex, Ariana Madix, telling her friends that her partner of nine years cheated on her with co-star, Raquel Leviss. Sandoval has been on the show since its premiere in 2013, with Leviss joining the cast during season 2. The pair confirmed their relationship in 2014 and was together for years before splitting due to the cheating allegations. 

Now that I have all the details about this infamous clip I’m only wondering one thing — is this a skill JoJo learned at the Abby Lee Dance Company? 

This feels like something that will one day be referenced in a gender studies class. 

We love a good Holes reference. 

People are clearly finding this hilarious. 

There is definitely a little confusion. 

I just know the Vanderpump Rules fans are waiting for a response. 

But, seriously — Jojo is strong.
