How a Cupcake Can Change the World

Who knew that one simple bake sale could change the world for the better? Sign up now to #BakeAChange with the Tie-Dye Cupcake Bake-Off, an amazing grassroots campaign run by She’s the First to raise awareness of their mission to educate girls.

She’s the First provides scholarships to girls in low-income countries, making it possible for them to become the first in their families to graduate. This organization is creating a new group of global leaders—and you can be part of that just by baking a few cupcakes!

We’re not kidding. Of the 529 girls that She’s the First sponsors, 165 of them have been sponsored by a cupcake bake sale. That means these cupcakes really are going to make a difference—by providing girls with the education they need to create better lives for themselves and others. Want definitive proof that you should pull out your cupcake tins? Just look at all the amazing things She’s the First scholars are doing all over the world.

You can host a bake sale anytime between October 11 and November 1, and use the hashtag #BakeAChange to spread the word on social media. And when you send your proceeds in, know that 100 percent of it goes directly to scholarships for girls!

Many of our chapters have participated in the Tie-Dye Cupcake Bake-off over the years, and have had a blast giving back! Don’t miss this chance to have a great time baking cupcakes while also raising money for one of the best causes out there.

Sign up here for your bake sale date! You’ll show up on She’s the First’s map of bake sales around the world!
