September 2026 is truly becoming an iconic month for television. Dancing With The Stars Season 35 kicked off Sept. 15, American Horror Story Season 13 beginning on Sept. 24, and Season 52 of Saturday Night Live (SNL) is coming to the air on Sept. 26.
And speaking of SNL, the sketch comedy show has been absolutely nailing it the last few years, with viral hits such as Domingo, Bungee, and Charades With Mom. And one thing that these fan-favorite sketches have in common? The presence of younger cast members and hosts. That’s part of the reason SNL Season 52’s new casting announcement has so many fans excited.
With Season 52 right around the corner, the core cast has been saying goodbye, and hello, to members. It was announced earlier in 2026 that Chloe Fineman and Martin Herlihy would be stepping away from the show, and now, fans know who’s going to be filling their shoes: On Sept. 26, two new core cast members were announced: Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter. Both Belo-Osagie and Reiter follow the younger casting pattern, being very a young Millennial and a Gen Zer, respectively. They’re also no strangers to the internet; videos of their comedy have already been comedy seen around the world.
If you’re trying to place a finger on who they are, or just hype yourself up for their SNL debut, here’s a rundown on the two new cast members and some of their most hilarious moments.
Saidah Belo-Osagie
Saidah Belo-Osagie initially began her career on the other side of the cameras as an intern for Netflix’s When They See Us, then an assistant for Kaleidoscope and ABC’s For Life. Belo-Osagie then pivoted to comedy, specifically using the internet and social media to share her chops.

Reiter also has a personal TikTok account that she’s been posting on since 2019.
Reiter, along with her friends and American Highschool coworkers, created a parody of The Hunger Games titled “The Hunger Games (but better) – A Parody” for Reiter’s birthday in 2025. The video has accumulated more than 13 million views on YouTube and is extremely popular among Reiter’s fans.
