A ‘Friends’-Themed Pop-Up is Coming to NYC & We Couldn’t Be Any More Excited

The “Friends” 25th anniversary celebration just keeps getting better, from “Friends”-themed coffee drinks to a “Friends” collaboration with Pottery Barn. It’s safe to say that we are thrilled about our favorite sitcom’s milestone anniversary. But with this latest “Friends” anniversary news, we could not be any more excited, because a “Friends”-themed pop-up is coming to New York City.

According to PEOPLE, Rachel, Monica, Ross, Chandler and Joey’s iconic New York City apartment is being brought to life as an immersive pop-up experience

Located in New York’s SoHo neighborhood where the sitcom was originally set, the pop-up — called “Friends25” — will feature set re-creations, props and costumes, allowing fans to hang out in super accurate replicas of some of the show’s most iconic spots like Central Perk. This experience will definitely be Instagram worthy.

The pop-up will officially open to the public on September 7, with tickets priced at $29.50 per person, ABC News reports. Tickets for the event, which is sponsored by Superfly and Warner Bros., go on sale August 2 at friends25popup.com.

“It’s been nearly 25 years since Friends premiered, but the fascination and universal appeal of the hit TV series lives on with fans of all ages,” Peter van Roden, Warner Bros. senior vice president of global themed entertainment and consumer products, said in a press release. “As we celebrate the show’s milestone anniversary, we are excited to bring the Friends experience to life for our fans in a way that pays homage to the remarkable cast of characters, iconic sets and instantly quotable moments.”

The pop-up will also feature a “Friends” merchandise store and will be open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The “Friends25” pop-up will close on October 6.
