The First Trailer for the Girl Power-Filled ‘Ocean’s 8’ Is Here & It’s Everything We Hoped It’d Be

The long-awaited trailer for Ocean’s 8 is finally here, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest movie of 2018. Not only does the film star several of Hollywood’s most badass ladies, but it features many other famous faces for our viewing enjoyment. Ocean’s 8 is maxed out on girl power, and we can’t wait for it to hit the big screen next summer.

As Refinery29 reports, the storyline follows con artist Debbie Ocean, played by Sandra Bullock, who is fresh out of jail and ready for her next heist. Ocean and her crew of eight schemers have united under desperate circumstances and individual talents, prepared to complete the biggest gig to date. Set in New York City, the ladies are working together to steal a $150 million necklace from the Met Gala, and their mission is sure to be epic.

Ocean teams up with her mastermind sidekick Lou (Cate Blanchett), a jewelry maker ready to leave her mother’s home, Amita (Mindy Kaling), an out-of-the-game mom who couldn’t turn down the cash, Tammy (Sarah Paulson), a fed up fashion designer, Rose (Helena Botham Carter), the actress who is the gang’s “in” to the big event, Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway), and a young con artist ready to take her talents to the next level, Constance (Awkwafina). And we can’t forget about Rihanna, the dread-headed hacker who goes by the name of “Nine Ball.”

Alongside the all-female stars are the men of the movie, including Matt Damon, James Corden and George Clooney. And get ready for cameos galore! The film features some celebrity favorites like Kim Kardashian West, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Olivia Munn, Zayn Malik, Hailey Baldwin and Adriana Lima. The list (and our excitement) is seemingly endless.

BRB, I’ll just be marking every calender I own and counting down the days until this movie premieres. Summer 2018 can’t come soon enough!
