Turns Out Those Kylie & Timothée Rumors Weren’t Just Rumors After All

Timothée Chalamet is back in the news after taking on his most controversial role yet: Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend!? Aside from a new season of The Kardashians only a month away and Coachella in full swing, it looks like Jenner has been staying busy. Sources have spilled to Entertainment Tonight and Us Weekly that the two are now casually dating, confirming rumors from celebrity gossip account Deuxmoi in early April. Neither has released a statement confirming or denying their relationship, but the internet has been sent into a frenzy nonetheless. Her Campus reached out to reps for both Jenner and Chalamet for comment but did not hear back by the time of publication.

According to Us Weekly, Jenner has been single since her on-again, off-again relationship with Travis Scott ended back in January. Even more shocking, the rapper and father to her children, Stormi and Aire, doesn’t appear to be ready to let her go: He commented, “A Beauty” on one of her Instagram photos only two weeks ago.

Reportedly, Jenner and Chalamet met at Paris Fashion Week, where Jenner also wore the controversial lion head dress that has gone down in internet infamy. This wasn’t Chalmet’s first run-in with the Karjenners, however; his connections to the family go back to at least 2019. Chalamet did an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in December of that year, and spoke about a star-studded birthday dinner he attended for musician Kid Cudi. Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and, ironically, Kardashian’s ex Pete Davidson were all in attendance for the meal at the high-end sushi restaurant NOBU.

Meanwhile, it seems Jenner isn’t the only sister chasing romance. Speaking of unlikely pairings, Kendall is also rumored to be dating Latin musician Bad Bunny. A source told Deuxmoi back in February that they were seen making out at a party in Los Angeles. Am I the only one hoping we get to see a collab between him, Chalamet, and Davidson? If it’s anything like the infamous TikTok hit “YEET,” the viral SoundCloud rap parody featured in Chalamet’s 2021 Saturday Night Live appearance, it’s bound to go platinum.

Not much is yet known about Jenner and Chalamet’s budding relationship, but the Daily Mail reported fans spotted the couple on a secret taco date in Santa Monica on April 7. The two apparently ate in Jenner’s car, which was also spotted by TMZ paparazzi in Chalamet’s driveway on April 13. Chalamet wore a neon orange hoodie despite trying to keep a low profile. An eyewitness told the Daily Mail they observed him “looking around anxiously” before being escorted by Jenner’s security team.

Once the Coachella festivities have died down, it’ll be interesting to see if Jenner provides any more details. Despite questions about her relationship with the Call Me By Your Name star flooding her comments, she remains unbothered and hasn’t spoken out about the relationship one way or another. Either way, although many Timothée fans are feeling disappointed this week, I can’t help but be happy for Jenner that she’s found a connection.
