On June 7, the Monaco Grand Prix was all that Formula One fans could talk about. The iconic track was full of stars and locals alike as they watched the drivers take on 78 laps around the classic street circuit. It also brought unexpected excitement for Formula One fans, and several headlines came out of the weekend — a fifth consecutive win for 19-year-old Kimi Antonelli, a podium and a hard launch with Kim Kardashian for Lewis Hamilton, and, most recently, rumors surrounding F1’s reigning world champ Lando Norris and popular influencer Alix Earle.
The rumors all started with a leaked clip showing Earle and Norris dancing beside each other at a darty in Cannes, France. This comes after a pretty unremarkable weekend for the British driver, who was forced to retire from the race, which has been the story of his season thus far. Since it was a weekend to forget on the racing side of things, Norris seemingly chose to turn a negative into a positive by enjoying the great weather and stepping into vacation mode.
If you’re familiar with F1’s current world champion, then you probably aren’t surprised to see him outside. In addition to his great diving, Norris is known for being the life of the party, so much so that it was a running joke on Season 7 of Drive To Survive, the Netflix F1 docuseries. There’s also the iconic, blurry photo dump following his becoming world champion and the videos of him singing Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline.” So, Lando Norris partying over the weekend makes complete sense. However, what caught fans’ eyes wasn’t what he was doing — it’s who he was doing it with.
Norris has been rumored to be in an on-off relationship with Portuguese actress and model Magui Corceiro over the past few years, so sightings of Norris and Earle over the weekend certainly had fans raising eyebrows. That said, the Norris-Earle video that’s been gaining lots of attention appears pretty harmless — they were only shown dancing shoulder-to-shoulder — and yet, people are still really curious as to what might be going on between the two of them, if anything. “Is someone who drives for McLaren on the boat?” one commenter wrote on a video of Earle on a boat, referencing the F1 team Norris drives for. Another commented, “You and Lando together would make me so happy. My two favs.”
At the end of the day, people dance with each other all the time, so it’s not exactly a reliable piece of evidence when trying to confirm some dating rumors. Neither Norris nor Earle have publicly commented on the speculation yet, so it’s possible they were just two people having a good time, and someone happened to capture that moment — as for now, that’s as far as this story goes.
