Aw, Alexa & Brennon Got Married On ‘Love Is Blind’

Season 3 of Love Is Blind has had a lot of rocky relationships filled with ups and downs (I’m looking at you, Cole and Zanab) — but to me, one of the most stable couples on the show seems to be Alexa and Brennon. Like most fans of the show, I’ve been rooting for them since day one — Alexa is a total girl boss, and Brennon has that sweet Southern charm about him that you just can’t help but like. But as we all know, reality TV makes us see what we want to see, and throughout this whirlwind of a season, I couldn’t stop thinking about if my fave couple would *actually* tie the knot. Spoiler alert: Spoilers for Love Is Blind Season 3 follow.

Thankfully, I didn’t have to wonder about the fate of my favorite couple for long. On Nov. 9, Netflix dropped Episode 11 of Love Is Blind, showing Alexa and Brennon’s *adorable* wedding ceremony — and it was revealed that the two got married!

At the altar, Brennon lovingly said to Alexa, “I pledge to you my love, everything that I am. Our love is never-ending, and we will remain forevermore in our marriage, even during football season. Before our friends, family, and the world, I pledge my love and my life to you, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer.” How sweet!

Alexa then responded with her vows, saying, “Never in a million years did I think that I would find the love of my life on the other side of a pod wall. You make me laugh, you make me think, and more than anything else, you make me happy. I can’t wait to build the rest of our futures together.”

Despite coming from different backgrounds — Alexa, 27, is an insurance agency owner (and also Love Is Blind’s first plus-sized contestant), and Brennon, 32, is a water treatment engineer — the pair immediately fell for each other in the pods and bonded over their love of shakshouka, which is one of Alexa’s “favorite things to eat, ever.” They quickly opened up to each other, with Brennon sharing intimate details about his parents’ divorce and how it affected him as a kid (we love an emotionally intelligent and sensitive guy). They also talked a lot about their families and what they want for their kids, and Alexa openly shared how important her Israeli culture is to her.

The couple were the first to get engaged in the pods, with Brennon saying to the camera, “She makes me feel heard. She makes me feel comfortable, trusted. I don’t have a clear picture of what she looks like, but I feel like I do have a full and clear picture of who she is as a person.” OK, cue the waterworks… In his proposal in the pods, Brennon said to Alexa, “You make me so happy, and I’m so obsessed. I’m so in love with you.” He continued, “I want to spend every day of my life trying to make you happy in any way I can.” Alexa said yes to his proposal, because, well, obvi.

When Alexa first saw Brennon, she simply said, “What the f*ck?” and the two quickly went into each other’s arms. Brennon then re-proposed to her, placing the ring on her finger. “I have zero words. I’m obviously really happy,” Alexa said. Aww.

And while the lovebirds hit a few bumps in the road throughout their relationship, they all appeared to be minor. In Episode 4, the couple talked about family dynamics, which seems to pose a bit of a problem — for instance, Alexa’s family curses around each other a lot, while Brennon’s family doesn’t. And in Episode 6, finances came up, which also seemed to be a point of tension given the two’s different socioeconomic backgrounds. “I have my student loans, which [is around] $32,000,” Brennon told Alexa, while Alexa said that her only bills were from “online shopping.” Alexa then said that she wants Brennon to sign a prenup (um, yikes) when they get married. “You clearly have more money than I do, that seems obvious,” Brennon said. He then continued, “Put whatever you want in that contract, I’ll sign it.”

Later in that episode, Brennon met Alexa’s family, and it was… interesting. Alexa’s family grilled him, asking him about finances, family, and culture. “Culture and heritage are really important, and that’s why I asked her if I need to take a class because I don’t know anything about Judaism or the Israeli culture,” Brennon said to them. OK, but that’s, like, the sweetest thing ever.

Privately, Alexa’s dad had a heart-to-heart with Brennon, saying, “I just want to make sure [Alexa] has somebody that can give her what she’s grown up with,” referring to their affluent lifestyle and $2.4 million home. Brennon candidly told him, “I can’t promise you today, tomorrow, in a year, I can’t give her this. I grew up with no heat and AC in my house. I’ve worked my whole life to make sure that’s not the case, and I don’t want that for myself and my family.” He continued, “I can promise you 100%, I’ll work every day [and] I’ll work my ass off to give her the best life that she deserves.”

Towards the end of Alexa’s dad’s and Brennon’s conversation, Alexa’s dad said, “You told Alexa that you wouldn’t mind converting to Judaism. I got good news and bad news.” He jokingly pulled out a set of knives… to, um, circumcise him. Glad that the two can joke around together! Alexa’s dad even said that Alexa and Brennon “100% have his blessing.” Yay!

While I didn’t know that Alexa and Brennon were going to tie the knot until Episode 11 dropped, I admittedly had done a bit of Instagram stalking to get a better clue on whether the two were going to say “I do” — and my theory was pretty much correct.

Although Brennon isn’t that active on the gram (he only has 17 posts), he had posted a couple of pictures with Alexa prior to their marriage reveal. In one post, Brennon said, “I had no idea what [Alexa] looked like, but to me she was going to be the most beautiful woman.” I can’t right now.

Alexa had also taken to Instagram to share some sweet moments with Brennon before their wedding day. In one post, she wrote, “Pictures really do say a thousand words. It’s one thing to replay memories in your head and a whole other thing to see them play out on TV. These are some of my most cherished moments. Just two people who found love behind a pod wall and were trying to see if this love would last a lifetime.” Aww.

To me, their Instagram posts totally hinted at the two of them still being together, even before Episode 11 came out. I mean, Women’s Health even found that Alexa and Brennon were friends on Venmo, and that Alexa might have had a bachelorette party in late February, given Raven’s (who is another contestant on the show) Venmo history. They weren’t that slick!

Honestly, I’m so happy that these two tied the knot, and their marriage still seems to be going strong. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
