Here’s Where The Couples From ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 3 Stand After The First 4 Episodes

On Oct. 19, Netflix dropped the first four episodes from Season 3 of the hit reality dating show Love Is Blind, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey. ICYMI, the show follows 30 singles who are looking for love — but they aren’t able to see who they’re dating until they actually get down on one knee and propose. The singles date around in “pods,” and after the couples get engaged, they’re able to see each other’s appearances. The show follows each couple into the real world until their wedding day comes. Spoiler alert: Spoilers for Love Is Blind Season 3 follow.

This season, five couples end up getting engaged and going on a romantic getaway to Malibu, California, where they got to see if their chemistry in the pods translated IRL. From awkward conversations about family dynamics to makeout seshes to heated arguments, Season 3 of Love Is Blind is one you won’t want to miss — and honestly, I have no idea which couples are going to make it to the end. Here’s where the five couples stand right now following the fourth episode.

Colleen and MAtt

Colleen and Matt are the one couple that I might be able to see going until the end. The two fell for each other in the pods — even after Cole and Colleen dated for a bit — and ended up getting engaged. Colleen is a ballet dancer and digital PR strategist, and Matt is a private charter sales executive — and although they’re in very different fields of work, they have great chemistry. After meeting Matt IRL for the first time in Episode 3, Colleen said, “It doesn’t matter if it’s been two days, two weeks, two years. Time doesn’t matter. I already know him.” Aww.

Zanab and Cole

Zanab and Cole seem to be one of the hottest couples of the season, getting a decent amount of screentime — but their relationship hasn’t come without its challenges. While the two are both realtors, the couple share a five-year age gap — Zanab is 32 and Cole is 27 — that has posed some issues. While Cole has a more happy-go-lucky and playful personality, Zanab seems to be a bit more serious.

After their first night together, things were a bit *awkward* between the two the next morning. Zanab claims that Cole was acting “quiet” and cold towards her, while Cole called Zanab flat-out “passive aggressive.” In Episode 4, Cole ranted about Zanab’s hot-and-cold behavior to Bartise and SK, telling the guys that Zanab made an off-handed comment about him “putting his towel on the coffee table.” (In her defense, though, that isn’t really where towels go…) Cole was also spotted eyeing Colleen during Episode 4 as the cast got drinks and caught up. Could there be a love triangle — or, square, I guess — happening between these couples?

Alexa and Brennon

Alexa and Brennon have gotten the least amount of screentime so far in Season 3 — so maybe that means all is smooth sailing? After all, Brennan did say that the two of them are “the same f*cking person.” In Episode 4, the two even talked about their families — but they seemed to have very different family dynamics, which could pose some problems down the line. “My family’s really close,” Alexa said. “We’re all so mean to each other. That’s how all of us are. We’re just a lot.” Alexa told Brennon that the family curses in front of each other (yes, even in front of young kids), which seemed to throw Brennon off a bit. “Around my family, I never cuss,” he said. We’ll see what happens when they all meet each other’s families, I guess.

Raven and SK

While Raven and SK emotionally connected in the pods, their relationship seems to be a bit awkward IRL. The two haven’t really established their physical connection as of yet and seem to be taking things slow, even though they did admit in Episode 4 that they were “physically attracted” to each other. SK told Raven, “If there’s any reservation from my end, it’s just because I don’t know if you’ll come through with me or not,” to which Raven replied, “I think that’s what we’re feeding off of, ‘cause you feel it from me and then you’re not sure, and then I feel [it] from you, so I’m not sure.” (Raven also complained about SK napping a lot, and as a napper, I feel offended.)

SK told Bartise and Cole in Episode 4, “The first time we sat on the couch, we were literally sitting at opposite edges of the couch. [So] I’m like, ‘Okay, this is what engaged life is like?’” Honestly, IMO? Maybe this couple will be a slow burn — I don’t think the jury’s out on them yet.

Nancy and Bartise

Nancy and Bartise are one of those couples that are all over the place — one second, all seems well, and the next, there’s trouble in paradise. While the two are physically attracted to each other, there seems to be some tension between them — especially surrounding the fact that they both extensively dated other people in the pods (Nancy dated Andrew, who didn’t end up with anyone, and Bartise dated Raven). Bartise still seems hung up on Raven and kept swooning over her, telling the camera, “There’s definitely feelings there, and it’s crazy that there’s two girls in the same spot that I was falling in love with. So I don’t know how I’m gonna deal with all that.”

Later in their hotel room, Bartise came clean with Nancy, telling her, “I loved seeing Raven for the first time. Raven’s the typical girl that I would go after in the real world.” Dude, why would you tell your fiancé that? Oh, it gets worse. “She came down, she was wearing these tight clothes. I was like, ‘Okay, she’s a f*cking smokeshow.’” Later, Nancy tearily told the camera, “Like, what the f*ck?” This relationship is definitely on the rocks.
