Eucalyptus Is the Best Stress Relief Hack & Will Make Your Bathroom So Aesthetic

We all know that living as a college student often consists of restless nights full of studying, and mornings where we just don’t want to get out of bed for that 8 a.m. class. A crammed schedule of classes, jobs and deadlines can consume our lives in an unhealthy way, resulting in muscle pains and headaches. It never stops, does it?

When the people around you tell you to “do something to focus on yourself,” the first thing that comes to mind is that there’s simply not enough time. So, is there even a way to focus on your wellbeing without taking extra time out of your day? The answer is yes. I would like to present to you: hanging eucalyptus in your shower.

Eucalyptus is from a native tree in Australia, and its main purpose in beauty is to provide long-awaited stress relief. When the steam of hot water begins in the shower, it releases essential oils from the eucalyptus that will lift your mood, relieve your muscles, and overall just help you breathe. When inhaled, the oil vapor also acts as a decongestant, freeing you from any colds or coughs. Not to mention, it will fill your room with a nice minty and woodsy scent! Who needs the spa when you can clear your mind in the comfort of your own home?

The best part is, you don’t need to take any extra time out of your day. Everyone showers, and hanging a eucalyptus around your shower head will start off your mornings, or end your nights, in a soothing manner. Plus, adding greenery to your bathroom can make it look so pretty, and it’s a cute way to bring a smile to your face once you walk in. Not only will it make your bathroom look more polished, but it can also give you visual benefits through bringing a little bit of color to your life.

It’s time to say your goodbyes to the annoying shower that you need to squeeze into your schedule, and start enjoying them to the fullest, even if it’s just five minutes long.
