I’m an Arts and Humanities student at the University of Nottingham with a passion for writing that explores culture, identity, and the everyday experiences that shape university life. I’m particularly interested in how media — from music and film to books and online spaces — influences the way we understand ourselves and connect with others. Through my writing, I enjoy taking familiar topics and approaching them from a reflective, critical perspective, while still keeping my work accessible and engaging.

As both a consumer of culture and a student studying it, I’m drawn to conversations around representation, self-expression, and the pressure young people often feel to define themselves too neatly. Many of my ideas sit at the intersection of pop culture and personal experience, using storytelling as a way to explore broader feminist themes such as softness, rest, and identity in a fast-paced academic environment.

Writing for Her Campus gives me the opportunity to combine my academic interests with my love for creative expression and student-centred storytelling. I’m excited to contribute pieces that range from thoughtful reflections on film and music to lifestyle and university-focused content that resonates with women and nonbinary students navigating similar experiences.

Outside of writing, I enjoy engaging with music across genres, watching films that stay with me long after they end, and reading widely without limiting myself to one category. I also love exploring different cultures and perspectives, and I’m always curious about the ways identity can be fluid, layered, and constantly evolving. Through my work, I hope to create writing that feels honest, considered, and relatable — the kind of content I’d want to read myself.
