hey! i’m Suneri, and i’m a freshman at UC Berkeley studying business at Haas and data science :) i’m from the Bay Area (San Jose, CA), and i’ve lived here all my life. growing up here has definitely shaped a lot of my interests, and i’m really excited to spend the next few years exploring Berkeley, meeting new people, and figuring out where my interests take me.
a pretty big part of my life has also been badminton! i’ve competed internationally for Team USA, which has given me the chance to travel, meet people from around the world, and spend A LOT of time on a badminton court. outside of that, i love cooking, playing the piano, and pretty much anything creative. i’m also a big fan of writing, which is a huge part of why i wanted to join Her Campus! i love taking random thoughts, experiences, and ideas and turning them into something other people can connect with.
when i’m not writing or playing badminton, you can probably find me trying a new recipe, listening to music, hanging out with friends, or finding an excuse to explore somewhere new. i’m especially interested in the intersection of business, technology, and creativity, and i’m excited to explore all of those interests throughout college. i’m looking forward to writing about the things i care about, trying something new, and being part of the Her Campus community. so excited to be a part of this journey!
