Shelby Grace Sparrow is a freshman Great Texts and Professional Writing & Rhetoric major at Baylor University. She is just beginning her time serving as an editor and writer for Baylor's chapter of Her Campus.
Beyond Her Campus, Shelby Grace writes fantasy novels for children and teenagers. In the past, she has served as an editor and contributor to her high school's literature and arts magazine and attended a creative writing camp held by the University of Mississippi's creative writing program. On campus, she is involved in Alpha Delta Pi, creative writing club, and the Honors Residential College. Recently, she came together with her friends to begin a drama society for the HRC. This spring, they will be putting on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream where she is serving as an assistant director and portraying Helena.
In her spare time, Shelby Grace listens to Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and Gracie Abrams to inspire the stories she tells. She is sheepishly approaching being a Disney adult and will dominate any princess-inspired trivia. Although she has commitment issues with new television shows, she can quote a surprising amount of Gilmore Girls and has strong opinions on every relationship in the show. Shelby Grace also adores musical theatre and is constantly ready for a karaoke night with her friends. She is also passionate about reading and offers solicited or unsolicited book recommendations to everyone she meets.
